We had the opportunity to review some of the more stylish iFrogz iPod cases from iFrogz. We found the cases to be of a high quality material and very durable. We purchased a couple of the new iPod 5^th Generation iPod video cases for our review. Two of the 5^th Generation iPod cases we chose was the Atomic Black looking iPod case and the Stunned US Flag iPod case for our 60gig iPod Video (5^th Generation). We had to choose the American flag to show our true patriotism while sporting our iPod through the streets of Manhattan, NY.

We set out to perform a couple of intentional drops of our 60gig iPod onto the concrete ground. We managed to accidentally drop our iPod a 3^rd and extra time while during all of the waist high drops (about 3 feet) our iPod suffered no damage. The 3^rd accidental drop resulted in a minor scratch on the iPod case but was not noticeable inless you ran your fingers across the whole US Flag designed casing. The material used for the casing seems to be a type of composite silicon martial that shields and absorb blunt blows from any direction to the iPod. Any 3 foot or more drop would have surly damaged the iPod and rendered it useless without having this case protecting it.

 

In selecting a custom iPod case from iFrogz you have the option of selecting each idivitial part of a full wrapped casing with your custom selected design. An added bonus to the selection process is iFrogz gives you the option of using your own custom graphic/picture you can upload and have them customize on your casing for you. This process may take a couple extra days in receiving your new iPod case but nonetheless well worth the time and effort. This feature sets you aside from all of the other millions of iPod users and those with custom iPod cases. Selecting there pre-select selections for designing your own iPod case you are able to choose the actual Wrapz, which is the main shell of the iPod case where it leaves certain areas open for the click wheel, iPod view screen, and the various buttons of insertion points for the currently supported iPods. The next selection can be the Bandz, which surrounds the ifrogz main shell WRAPZ which adds extra support, protection and customized style to your iPod case. Installation of the Bandz leaves the headphones areas open. You have the option of selecting a screen protection called the Screenz which is a protective sheet of transparent plastic that over-lays the whole front of the iPod screen portion. This really helps in aiding in the protection of your iPod while preserving a scratch free screen on your iPod.

We can conclude in our testing during the various wear, tear and dropping of the iPod while wrapped in an iFrogz iPod case, they are well worth the time and surely turn heads when you drop such a beautiful piece of work (and it still works after the drop with no scratches).
