| Fixing missing mail Written by Charlie Dancey, on 02-08-2008 02:56 Well this might seem like a brutal solution but it worked for me. You need to be sure that your email account is NOT set up so that mail is deleted from teh server after downloading (which is the normal state of affairs). Once you have confirmed this proceed by deleting your email account from the iPhone and re-creating it. Make sure you're connected to wifi (because otherwise this could take a while). Once that's done you'll find everything back to normal. My theory on this is that the iPhone's internal database of mail gets messed up if you have partially downloaded some of your email messages, as happens when you get a big mail and get bored (or phoned) halfway through a mail download.
