I recently rode with my buddy to the local flea market; he just had to take me there to purchase a phone case for his daughter of all things. During our visit I decided to get out of the car and walk through the flea market. To my surprise it was a kid selling iPods. I was not shocked at this point; I just thought it was a kid selling used iPod nanos and iPod shuffles. I picked up one of the iPod shuffles and took a look at it and the USB cover fell off without pulling it off. I was saying in the back of my head, oh, this iPod shuffle was abused – I thought nothing of it and looked at the other items his booth had to offer. I came across about 15 iPod nanos for sale at one booth. I then proceeded to pick up one outside of the box and to my surprise it had a “vol” printed where the play button is normally positioned at the bottom of the scroll/touch wheel. I could not hold back, my mouth blurted out “what the hell is this” before I knew it. They kid said “what’s wrong, do you want to buy one”. I said “hell no, this is not an iPod nano, what is this?” The kid said “Do you want one or not, I am closing my booth, going to lunch”. At this point I am laughing hysterically in this kids face telling him “you’re selling fake iPods, what the heck” To make this long story short I asked my buddy if I could report this kid and he said he does not think so, he has a right to sell these items. I left before I could look at the other markings of the fake iPod to see where it was made. The screen didn’t even look like the iPod’s interface.
iPhone displaying the message “This message has not been downloaded from the server” or “This message has no content” – Houston, we have a problem with the iPhone’s email.
This is a common message displayed on iPhone emails at various times using POP3 accounts. It is not specific to any particular internet service provider’s network or usage of those networks. It seems to be an iPhone specific issue in accessing POP3 accounts and servers for downloading of email messages. This is more appt to happening when an email message has a large amount of content including but not limited too images, large amounts of text, or excessive headers.
We have recently received literally hundreds of emails asking how to fix this issue with various email servers mainly POP3 accounts assigned to an iPhone. This is something we have confirmed with many that Apple is actually working on to resolve. A fix for this should be packaged with the next update being firmware version 1.1.3 or newer for your iPhone from Apple.

Apple invents the iBoob integrated breast implant iPod.

The rumors have it that the newest iPhone 1.1.3 software update will be released soon. Some others are speculating a bigger NUMBER and “update” to the next round calling it 1.2.0 firmware version. Some say that 1.2.0 is reserved for the upcoming 3G iPhone due out next year (2008). Get ready to re-re-re-jailbreak your iPhone. Either way here is a list of what has been pretty consistent about the rumors:
MMS support for the iPhone – Yea, that might only support sending images via the all so faaaaaslow EDGE connection – thanks a lot AT&T!
A voice recorder application – allowing you to record phone conversations and voice recordings.
Disk storage or disk access. – allow access to store documents, files, and media on your iPhone for transfer to other PC’s or Mac computers… in essence this will turn your iPhone into one of the most expensive USB jump drives around.
A few other ideas and noteworthy features are rumored to appear in the next update such as:
WPA Enterprise software allowing connectivity via corporate Wi-Fi networks in seemless connection to server apps to target the business users. This is something Apple is probably secretly working on in a much lagerger scale – the whole business integration… wooo… that will be the day Apple just takes over all right?
Copy –Paste functions added to the iPHone, okay, this will stomp hard on the windows mobile users if this is added onto the iPhone in a “good” way that is… we don’t want some cumbersome interface for copy and paste functions, after all, the iPhone is still a MAC device.
SMS update along with instant messaging programs integrated into the iPhones applications. – This is all we need, more stuff to bog down the already slow EDGE network connection to the iPhone.
